Summer is peeking around the corner, and when summer comes, so do summer camps for students out of school pop up during those precious weeks that kids look forward to all year.

Students interested in acting, singing and performing will find all in one at the Rocket Lane Theatre Camp ran by Chris Noffsinger, Shelby County High School theater director.

There are two camps running back to back.

The first camp, for younger kids, is June 10-15 is from current kindergarteners to 5th graders.

101 DalmatiansYoung campers will perform in Disney’s 101 Dalmatians.

Camp times are Monday — Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $130, which includes costumes. Payment is due on “Script Pick Up” day.

Performances are June 14 at 6 p.m., and June 15 at 1 p.m.

Pollyanna (Grade 6 to 12)Older campers will perform in Pollyanna.

Performances are June 28 and June 29 at 7 p.m., and June 29 at 2 p.m.
